Every piece hasa series number.

Each garment we have ever made carries an individual series number — a C block and a W block, printed on the tape inside the left side seam, e.g. C034W312. Every number is registered in our database before the garment leaves the atelier. Enter one below to confirm a piece is ours before you buy it, new or second-hand.

Where to find it

Woven tape inside the left side seam, four centimetres above the hem. Never printed on the outside, never on a swing tag that can be swapped.

How to read it

W — the warp lot: the month's run on the loom, and the collection it belongs to. C — the piece's own mark within that lot, never repeated.

Buying second-hand

Ask the seller for a photograph of the tape. If the checker cannot find the number, or the record is already flagged stolen, write to hello@tramawarp.com before you pay.

Tell us who you are and a person will write within two working days to confirm your size and arrange payment. Owners of an earlier piece go first — add the series number from inside your garment, C…W…, and your request moves ahead of the open queue.

This website is not a shop. Nothing is sold or paid for here. The form is a request, not an order — we reply by e-mail, and the sale is agreed with you directly by the atelier.

Lane 1 — Owners

A verified series number from any earlier piece. Answered first, in the order the numbers were issued.

Lane 2 — Open

Everyone else, in the order they wrote. 90 a month, three a day — the queue moves slowly and honestly.

One per person

A series number claims priority once a month. Numbers reported resold or stolen are held for review.
